I want to save this video from the internet that opens in windows media player to my computer as an mpeg. does anyone know how i can do that?

Streams like that are made streaming so you can’t save them to your PC. However there are programs that grab the packets as they’re streaming as save them as a file. In the old days windows media recorder and streambox vcr worked well. I don’t know if they still do. Last I heard (which was quite some time ago) HiDownload was quite good. You can try that first. If it doesn’t work (aka my knowledge is too outdated), google for stream rippers.

You can burn your downloaded videos to dvd to watch on TV or on your DVD Player.
Or burn those videos to ISO/Video_TS,etc.
I have the same question as Beth La. I want to save a video clips to my designated folder on a hard drive. It was possible with Windows XP using right click on Window Movie Viewer. I do not wat to burn them, not yet, just save them on my hard drive. Now them appear in a “Library” and can not be saved.

i have multiple programs for players and such, my problem is takeing these new vids on webpages where if u right click and try to save target u get something else. all i would like to know is how can i save these videos,etc etc to my media player or even to my comp without haveing to view it every time through the internet browser
