Search on this site GSpot and Avicodec and open your file with to find out the type of your file.Avicodec give you some links to download video or audio codecs.http://www.free-codecs.com/ As a basic colection you have to download and install All in One Codec Xvid DivX and players like VLC and BSplayer.Try to play the file on pc before you go to convert in whatever format.AC3 filter is a must for audio so play with this links and download what you’re missing.If you have any codec conflict or a broken codec Sherlock is a good tool to find out which one.Here is another site for codecs:http://www.afreecodec.com/

Hi guys,

I too have the same problem while using Super dvd cREATOR or DVD Movie Maker.

It is saying that Renderfile(Wfile) codec required.

I have downloadd the latest All in one codec and installed in the PC..I am able to play the files (both Video and Audio are fine)...But when i try to convert into DVD by using the Sup[erDVD Creator or DVD Movie maker, the same problem persist..

Can anyone please help in this regard

YOU DO NOT NEED TO INSTALL Any codec, what you have to do is change the name of the file(Rename)and restar your proyect.

I try the codec but it also does not work

Go to http://www.updatexp.com/sherlock-codec-detective.html and download sherlock.exe

It does not install. It just looks at what video and audio codecs are on your system and gives you a list of them and sometimes it can identify a problem codec. They problems are listed in red.

I had the same problem.
Just install realplayer if you haven’t yet, and it should work.
