Hey guys, I’ve got a Sony DCR-DVD203 Handycam and I need to convert these files to view them in Windows Media Player to edit them. Right now, they are a whole bunch of .vob, .ifo, and .bup files which are unviewable. How do I convert these files so I can view my video(s)? reply

yes!
I also think you need a dvd ripper program to help you.
you can try wondershare dvd ripper, which allows you to rip .vob, .ifo, and .bup files to wmv format to be viewable on Windows Media Player.
And it also lets you edit dvd. reply

search for it on google. there are plenty of programs available that will convert .vob files into .wmv files. Only problem is most if not all of them require u to upgrade to the paid for edition to use it to its full potential. reply

Just rename the .vob to .mpg then you will be able to play them as .mpg files. Once they are mpg files they are easier to convert to .wmv or just use the .mpg file! I hope that helps. reply
