MP4/AMV help

I just bought a MP4 player and it came with a CD with a terrible manual, but I mangaged to use it successfully. I installed all the software and codecs it came with. The converter software is at the link above. Hope this helps.

That link is just a review of a player..no link for the converting software for AMV files. Please only post info that is relevent..were looking for a source for the AMV converter software

i bought an mp4 player that 1’8 screen. i have problem to convert avi. video to mvs format. can anybody suggest a software that can help me to convert avi. video to mvs format..plzz plzz plzz.. thanx very much

I have a 2 DVD’s full of 60 genuine AMV & MTV music video files, designed exactly for these so called china & far east mp4 video players that actually only support AMV & MTV format.

They are not coverted files (just genuine AMV & MTV files.)
All you have to do is put the DVD into your PC, it will then auto run & display all the tracks.

Then simply right click on the video you want & chose the ''send to drive F or potable device option)they will then be downloaded to your MP4 player within seconds & play straight away without any messing about.

They are all full length in english classic hits from the 1980-2005 & by the origanal artists - so exactly as you would expect to see them on the telly.

I will gladly copy & send the discs to anyone who wants it, & charge nothing for doing it.

The only thing i ask for is to cover my costs so for a couple of DVD’s, Case, Labels jiffy bag & UK postage i would say about £2.75p-£3.00p

Anyone interested - then please let me know & i will let yopu have the full track listing.

I am happy to deal private or through ebay if you prefer & would accept cheuqe or paypal.

I am also happy to send these to europe or worldwide at a little extra for postage if anyones interested.

I CAN ASSURE YOU THIS IS NO LOAD OF RUBBISH OR SPAM - I AM JUST TRYING TO HELP PEOPLE OUT AS I TO BOURGHT ONE OF THESE SO CALLED MP4 PLAYERS FOR MY DAUGHTER & WAS GUTTED WHEN IT WOULD NOT PLAY VIDEOS.

To corret the amv format error just go to amv converter installed directory and open up amvtransform.ini and then change value of CHIPTYPE=1 to CHIPTYPE=0.

Thanks for the email but I cant say that stuff is really what I was expecting and far from my regular musical tastes, so I will respectfully decline to order that off you.

cant believe that it was just a lil thing like a wrong chipset param :S

that thing didn’t work for me =( still when i play the video on the computer it splits after 1 or 2 seconds and starts all over! and when i put it in my mp4, it still says format error!!

how did u guys make it work? please answer!!

FormatErroraargghh - YES NO PROBLEMS (LIKE I SAY IT’S ALL POP STUFF FROM CLASSICS TO DISCO.) SO IF YOU DON’T LIKE MAIN STREAM POP THEN ITS NOT FOR YOU

No problem like i said it’s all 1980s - 2005 calsics & chart hits. So if you are not into pop i fully understand.
