You know how poeple on youtube make those little like tribute videos using clips from tv shows ect? well im trying to make one myself using windows movie maker but movie maker will not let me import all the clips of the show that i download offline ...

OK you have two routes you can choose to take:
Shorter route - Download (Trial/Full Version) of a better program like Cyberlink’s Power Director, and then import it and edit it through that program, one last and very easy step. Forget about Windows Movie maker, as the program (Power Director) can upload your created file to your youtube account.
Longer route - Re_encode your video file using winavi, super converter, or some other video/audio converting program.
Then, wait and see if the converted video and audio will work with Windows Movie Maker.
