I have the opposite problem. I am trying to convert a mpeg file in my computer to put this into a SD card to play in my canon A1100 IS camera. I used a Super C converter with AVI container, MJEG video codec, WAV pcm u8 audio codec. Video is set to 640x480, 4:3, 30F/s, 9216kbps. Audio to 11025 sampling freq, mono, 88kbps. But the camera would not recognize the avi file I created. Any suggestions?
I recomment E.M. HD Video Converter.
You can find a professional one here:
1: convert your favorite videos to various HD (high definition) video formats like HD WMV Video, HD DivX Video, HD Xvid Video, HD H.264 Video, HD Quick Time Video, HD MPEG4 Video, HD FLV Video, HD TS Video, etc.
2: create Blu-ray folder for PS3 and Blu-ray player. besides, E.M. HD Video Converter can easily burn all videos and AVCHD (mts, m2ts) to DVD, DivX DVD.
It easy to use and you can try it now.
God? what a handle
I don’t think HD converter applies here. The Canon A1100 is a point and shoot camera. Its movie mode produces 640x480 30F/s video compressed in AVI MJPEG format. Audio is Wav pcm little endianness. I am trying to get a file from a different source into the camera file format to play for the family when I visit. While I can make a AVI MJPEG file using Super C, the camera did not play it.
