ATI HDTV Wonder, all up to date, and the when i r-click on a TV-ON-DEMAND (DTV) file and hit EXPORT the MLibrary.exe crashes and the error report window pops up.
AppName: mlibrary.exe AppVer: 188.8.131.52 ModName: unknown
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 00000000
my DTV is saved on my C:\ drive and my TV (analog) is saved to my D:\ drive.
export other files i get a different error
AppName: mlibrary.exe AppVer: 184.108.40.206 ModName: unknown
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 00000080
and the a pop up
APPLICATION ERROR “the instruction at *0x0dcfdd32* referenced memory at *0x00000001*. the memory could not be *read*.
whats wrong here? why is it so hard to save DTV? or even just to stream it to a dvd disc?
i have used ATI products for 10 years now putting up with complicated software installs and crazy software, but this is rediculus, does ATI care?, theres been no improvement on the problems or very little, maybe it time to switch! but the hardware is the best and it shows on the screen!
i even waited 9 months after the HDTV WONDER came out on the market to buy it, one would think all the major bus would be worked out by now, but no....arrrrgg
any help would be greatly apreciated
i am aslo trying to convert the ati. vcr formant into either mpeg2 or wmv...im getting the video from a card the product is called the ATI TV Wonder Pro.
i would just like to know where i get the ATI libaray program from. if anyone can tel me this that would be awesome..thank you
I bought the ATI HDTV card a year ago and couldnt get it working. Finally after a week of trying i got it to work.Depending on ur os it pretty much comes down to trial and error to find what works best w/ your machine.I am using CAT5.9 drivers, and 9.0.3 media drivers for winXP pro, using X800xt pe agp.Now
1. ATI media library will allow you to take TV-ON-DEMAND .vcr files and convert them to mpeg1,2(720x480) or avi(704x480)
2.You need to find the right drivers that will work with your system(it will take time)
3.Using WinXP media edition will take longer to get the HDTV blunder working.
4.There are many free video editors that will work very well inc. VirtualDub and VD mod depending what you are doing. There are also free dvd rippers Smartripper and dvd2avi, also a big fan of avi2dvd.
5.If you really want to record true HD content off air(GOOD LUCK).
Hope this is helpful
btw make sure your machine has the right codecs on it.Codecallinone, ffdshow, and divx
As far as watching VCR files in Media Center, you can do this using Windows Media Player 10 as long as you download the .vcr codecs from ATI’s website.
I’m having the same problem as far as converting these files, but I’m about to try the recommended VSO divx to dvd converter recommended in the earlier posts.
its a strange thing that happends..i dont know if somethings wrong with my computer or the program this card came with just sucks...i have an xbox hooked up to the card i posted earlier..the video works ok and i have sound coming out of my speakers on both my tv and my comp...when i record myslef farging people and what not..i try and look at the video later and the video only..ONLY works when the progam the card came with is on..if its not i get these wired looking green lines going up and down the screen...and even if the program IS on and i see video..i get no sound what so ever..im wanting to make a website and/or post it on some other website so people can check me out...is there come serious prob with my comp or the ati program..and even if i did convert the file..would it even work after words
I have the ati video card. When I go into the library and right click on any file it doesn’t give me any option to convert the file. I am trying to convert an ati movie I downloaded. ATI to Adobe Premiere wrote:
I’ve just tried the ATI Library converter from .vcr to mpeg2 and then tried to import the video into adobe premiere and it says now that the the video has an unsupported audio rate within the file. Any ideas.
Hi, I actually have the same problem with my DivX movies when I try to make it into a DVD. Some of my movies are in 2 parts, well the 2nd part works fine, but the 1st part’s audio is playing much faster than the video. I’ve tried many things to fix it and it still stays the same, especially editing it through Adobe Premier, but it keeps saying “unsupported audio rate in file” so it won’t even open. Can someone tell me how fix this problem???
Listen, every boddy is looking for the right tool to do the ATI .VCR Convertion to other video format, can you guys help to the rest how to locate this file?
Actually the files are hidden because when i go in to the folder i dont see the whole archives, but when i check the folder size said that is 17gb, know, please can you guys tell us what program is used to cenvert the ati vcr archives??
Yeah! I really want an app that can edit or convert ATI’s crap VCR format! There’s no way to trim the clips before exporting from the ATI media library. How stupid.
Please email me if you guys find a solution.
I recorded the kids long time ago on super8, then had it put on vhs, Ive now converted the vhs tape onto dvd, but I want to edit some of it then put it back on to a dvd. I put it in the pc, it plays alright, but I cant edit it in either moviemaker or intervideo windvd creator. any ideas
