Would you mind sharing it? I have a downloaded cd movie of spiderman2 from a friend and he showed me that it worked before I left but when I got home it wouldn’t play in my dvd player so I tried it in my laptop windows media player. it comes up as mpeg2 and then AVSEQ01. Got any ideas?

sure mjw1962
your problem is not the same as mine. mpeg2 is normally a format used in SVCD’s. some dvd players do not play mpeg2. check your dvd player users guide to find out. AVSEQ01 is the mpeg file a vcd(mpeg1) or svcd uses to play on your computer or dvd player. your computer should play the AVSEQ01 file. if not try downloading “the playa” for the divix codex. the codex will automatically attach to media player. if you have a title option on your dvd remote press it while the movie is in and see if it works. reply
