when i burn .avi to dvd using toast 10 and the .avi file has Dolby Digital Stereo audio the dvd will have no sound, when the .avi has MPEG layer 3 audio the dvd plays perfectly with sound. Files both play fine in quicktime and vlc.
How can I burn an .avi file that has dolby audio and have sound on my dvd??
I have perian, ac3, and a52 codecs.
got same problem here movies play fine on pc sound and pciture perfect, when ive burned them to disk to audio does not work, movies have dolby digital audio
you convert your avi file with 'Any video converter ultimate' into a DVD video pal or ntsc file
the sound wont be dolby anymore and youll be able to burn it
your computer is Mac or Windows? Also please make sure that all the parameters are fitting to DVD disc. Otherwise it will have the problem. Please make usre that the frame rate or bit rate is right for burning. :-)
Good luck.
