It takes too long to burn a dvd

posted in DVD Burning, viewed 4719 times

I have two dvd burner programs on my pc. One is nero 7 and the other is media now. With nero it takes me between 10 and 12 hours to burn one dvd. and media now it takes about 8. But that is still too long I know that it is possible to burn in less time than that, but I don’t know how. I tried changeing my disc type, i tried checking the device manager. Could it be that my pc is too old and too slow, but it works fine doing everything else. I am so frustrated because I am waisting a lot of dvd’s. can some one help me please reply

I too think the problem will be with the DVD writer. Because I use the NERO 7 for burning DVDs and it takes only 10 to 15 minutes to burn it. So, better change your DVD writer!

Kevin is correct. Try to replace your cd/dvd writer. Or maybe you’re running out of RAM. reply
