How to write .avi's on DVD?

posted in DVD Burning, viewed 63k times

ROAR! Hi.
I have tons of .avi to watch, and I’d like to burn them onto a dvd to watch them on my ps2 (hopefully, or else I’d have to plug my other dvd player which isn’t very new either (3-4 years)) - but I don’t know what to do for that. I have nero (not complete edition - the one that came with my dvd burner)...
anyway! if you can help me that would be very appreciated :D

(I really wanna make dvd’s, not VCD’s... unless its absolutely last resort) reply

Hmm... but in that case, the file appears as 3x bigger on the DVD :P is there any way to avoid this? reply

You may have a try of " Any DVD Converter Pro”

I’ve been using this software to convert videos/DVDs all the time. It works well.

You can search it in Google with the name. reply

I have one very simple Question please... which blank media should I use .. DVD+R or DVD-R ??
I need to play my DVD movies on normal stand alone DVD players, not on PC.

I’m getting very confused so a simple answer from someone who knows will certainly help.

Thanks. reply
