how to save window maker file in DVD

hi i finished my pictures as a movie in window movie maker.i want save it in the dvd.how can i do?
note:i m having window7 laptop and i m having option save the file for dvd can i save it directly or i have to convert .wmv files to any other...
can i save the file in my USB drive
