I have a JVC camcorder and it records in .mod files. I have read posts on here and changed my movie files over to .mpg by renaming them. However, after I burn the movies on to a disk, I can’t get them to play in any DVD player. I can get them to play in Windows and my PS3 will also play them, but not a DVD player. Why is that?
Also,I am a football coach trying to put together game film for my players to watch of the game. There are alot of little movies of each play and in the ps3 it stops after each one. How can I get it to play all the movies continously on the ps3 or in a dvd player? Thanks for the help I really appriciate it. reply

well for one you cant convert any sort of media file simply by renaming it, for example, Mp3 cant convert to Mp4 by adding a suffix to the file name. You would need a program that lets you set up the file for conversion. However there is one exception, picture files, you can convert them by simply changing the suffix on the filename such as renaming “football team.jpg” to “football team.gif”. reply

I do consider all of the ideas you have prtneseed on your post. They’re really convincing and will definitely work. Nonetheless, the posts are very short for newbies. May you please prolong them a little from next time? Thank you for the post. reply
