posted in DVD Burning, viewed 9056 times

i just started downloading with torrent, i am able to watch the videos fine b/c i have codecs. however, when i try to burn the videos it looks like it is working and then comes out. when i put the video in the dvd player it says “playback feature unavailable on this disk” i have tried burning on dvd-r dynex and dvd+r hp. i have also tried watching to dvd ion other players and it doesn’t work, but the disk does play in my computer. i have tried to use convertxtodvd along with aoaconverter, dvdfab, roxio, copying and pasting.. etc. i did read that i should use winavi to convert and then nero to burn, is that what i should do next? does it have to do with the type of bank dvd’s i am using? i do not know what to do please help! reply

Hey Tiffany

Make sure in convertxtodvd that you set the region settings to NTCS or what every region your stand alone player is set for. Most of the time when you down a movie from the internet they are released earlier with a different region setting. I’m not sure WINAVI allows you to change the REgion setting. I recomend using Clone DVD to burn your movies as well. Or just use convertxtodvd. Either way doesn’t really matter what software you use, it all matters on the region setting to view. Hope this helps.. reply
