most windows movie maker videos are stored as wmv format, so we can search “wmv to dvd” for solution on Google.
Windows Media Video (WMV) is a compressed video compression format for several proprietary codecs developed by Microsoft. The original video format, known as WMV, was originally designed for Internet streaming applications, as a competitor to RealVideo.
If you wanna make a DVD from Windows Movie Maker that will work on a standard DVD player, you will need a DVD Burning Tool to do this.
The best and most reliable DVD Burning Tool that I’ve ever used is a tool called DVD Creator. It’s able to burn WMV videos to DVD.
You should really give it a try.
If your WMV files are DRM protected, you will have to remove DRM protection from WMV. Check out DRM Removal Tool.
Best of luck.

can I burn a movie video into DVD-RW?
Of course,you can.
With hours and hours of Christmas movies or videos stored on my computer, I’d like to convert these on Mac using Aimersoft Video to DVD Converter for Mac, so that I can watch movies on home DVD player with my family members and friends; what’s more, it also allows me to backup my favorite movies and save my computer space.
It might help if you make the words smaller, or try and put them more to the center of the screen. I’m no expert either, but if there’s a big gap either side of the words then they should still fit when they are enlarged.

I need help. I am trying to convert a windows movie maker into a DVD, but when I tried to add the file, it said the file could not be “supported”, and therefore not imported. The type is a MSWMM file. I clicked on all the above file converters, but I didn’t see any that supported an MSWMM file either. Zamzar.com didn’t work either. Any help?
I created a slideshow a couple of years ago for my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary and STILL have yet to get it onto DVD like I had promised everyone in my family. Anyhow, from reading all these posts I have figured out how to convert it to a 'movie' or .wmv file. Problem is that when I tried to burn it onto a DVD-R and a DVD+R, neither of them burned successfully. The DVD’s were blank and now when I try to watch what I put on there, they are empty and when I go to 'my computer' to check the drive it asks what files I would like to drag onto it.I believe my laptop has writable capabilities so don’t know what is happening. Any suggestions.... Please??????
I need help! When i go to burn my MM project through WDVD Maker It lets me do it but when i go to play it on my DVD player it says it 'cannot play because the disc is empty' I need help eargently so that i can give it in for a school IT project!!!

The simplest solution I’ve found is to use a DVD authoring program such as Toast to transcode the WMV file into NTSC video for burning on DVD. Lots of authoring programs will accept WMV files and then create the menu and transcode the file for DVD.
I am making a slide show for Christmas. I am using windows movie maker and dvd flick with img burn. When I put it on dvd it will only show part of the show, and stops and starts over. What am I doing wrong?
