I have download a video/avi file......I have try to burn it to dvd using dvd santa. It burns ok but I have no sound. Im not sure whats going on here......I can play it back fine on windows medis player. Can someone give me some info on what I should be doing?
1. Go to http://www.codecpackguide.com/
2. Download the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack
3. Install the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack
4. Convert the audio of your movie to a format your DVD player supports
5. Burn the DVD
Then you’re done!
I’ve had similar. In my case, it only happened when the demultiplexed audio portion of the file was ac3, but if I converted to mpa problem went away. Was using DVD-Lab Pro, and it has a tab that gives you the option to convert to or from ac3.
I purchased a DVD burner software porgram today called 123 Copy DVD Gold & it works fine with burning the movies which I download but there isn’t any sound coming from the movie...what am I doing wrong here?
I have downloaded multiple movies and have burned them but for some reason on a certain movie it will download fine but with no sound. Can some one help me out with this? why for ever other one I have burned the sound is perfectly fine but with this one movie it only plays sound on windows media player but not on the burned copy. :(
im having the same problem, some of the dvds have sound and some dont. im not sure why. they all play with sound in windows media player but when i burn it to dvd it doesnt have sound. why are some burning with sound and some without??
Exact same thing is happening to me. Movie plays fine on Windows media player, but no sound when played on DVD. Happened for 2 movies out of 12 downloaded? Then, logically it cant be the software I use (express burn), because all of them would be bad no?
This is really a challenge for whoever is on that forum. Please help! Where’s the genius?
Burned DVD has no sound, usually because there is a sound decode or encode error with your dvd burner software, once your video files use incompatible sound codec with your dvd burner software, you will meet “no sound” problem, so I think you have to use a better burning program to fix this problem, you can follow me to use RZ DVD Creator, it supports any video and sound codec, it can convert any formats/codecs video files to video dvd format and burn to any dvd disc, and the burned video dvd can be played well on dvd players with right video and sound, I always use it to convert and burn my video files to video dvd and never have any problem, you can download it from it’s official website:
http://www.rzdvdcreator.com, hope it could help you.
Though I have yet to figure out how to reformat the audio, I believe it’s because the audio is AC3 format. I’ve noted that every time I’ve had issues, AC3 is always “there”. I’ve had this issue with both HP Windows 7 and all built in software as well as iMac OS X Lion and a 1/2 dozen or so programs I found.
I think there a way to use VLC to resolve and save the codec issues but I can’t figure it out... I’m new at this DVD burning game.
I’m having the same problem when i burn dvds it shows picture on dvd player but no sound.... Its doing my head in, I’m using windows dvd Maker can any1 help me and tell me what to do would be very greatful my email is
