Yes. Install a program like DAEMON -Tools or another program which allows virtual disc drives. reply

Hey, I have MagicISO, a PSX emulator and Castlevania in 8 different parts. What do I do with those 8 different parts of 1 game. My computer won’t even let me extract all the files because they all have the same name. reply

Okay, so I wont try to get into a lot of technical detail, so this should be easy.

Bin/Cue files are just “image” files that CD Burning sofwares use to create a CD. With the right software all you would have to do is select the BIN file and click Burn! A lot of people suggest NERO, but since you’re a self-proclaimed newb, i’d suggest MagicISO. You just click “write CD” at the top choose the BIN file and you’re done! Remember we’re not burning the BIN file itslef, but the data contained in the BIN file as read by MagicISO

There’s another alternative but I don’t reccomend this ESPECIALLLY WITH GAMES. You could always open the bIN file using ISOBuster, and then extract all the files and burn those but the problem is if say your game is 2 CDs, your computer sometimes won’t recognize some of the CDs. Example, i burned Need For Speed Underground but opening the BIN file, extracting and then burning the result, but the when i tried to run the game and it asked for CD2, i popped it in but the game did not recognize it as CD2 and told that that was the wrong disc.

So the safest way is to burn the bin file using MagicISO. Your game should work that way.

I happily answer any more of your questions

thanks! :) reply

Saying that.. colorado i think you may forget that ''newbies''' probibly dont know how to 'rename/change file format’s' lol
And as im sure XP, Vista and Windows 7 all approach this differently i wont go into detail.

Now Bin&Cue, It’s Simple really..

My Method is usally to Extract it with a program like all the above (i use powerIso) and then i simply install it And get a no-Cd crack as i hate needin to mount images to play games just as much as i hate Games requireing the CD in the drive when playing lol

BBCode Link: GameCopy World
http://www.gamecopyworld.com/ <- WebSite

If there arn’t Any no-cd cracks for the game in question then you must mount the image if the game requires it so
id get 'daemon tools lite' once installed it appers as a lightning bolt in the taskbar, right click it and select change all options to on, make sure it has a virtual drive created already, if not make one (it will show up in 'my computer' next to your other CD/DVD Drive(s).
Right Click the file in question .bin and mount it with daemon tools.

Hope It Helps :) reply

I cant install a torrent game. this is what i did.

1)Downloaded file from torrent.
2)Unrar’d with winrar.
3)There was 1 iso file, which i burned.
4)Installed the game.
5)Copy and pasted deviance crack into bin32.
6)Asked me if i wanted to replace existing file, said yes.
7)Clicked on new icon, asked me how i wanted settings.
8)Then turned off, i waited for it to start, but nothing.
9) clicked icon again, but nothing happens.

if you use magic iso then just place the .bin file into it, highlight all the files that come up and extract them to a location that you want eg desktop reply

heres some info on how to make .cue files and how to extract files from .iso/.bin files without an extractor program
:how to make a .cue without a program
create a text file and write the following (assuming your .bin file is named halo.bin)
FILE “halo.bin” BINARY
TRACK 01 MODE1/2352
INDEX 01 00:00:00
save it as halo.cue and your done
--------------------------------------------------------------
how to extract files from a .bin/.iso
simply mount an .iso and then go to my computer and select your .iso drive(the drive that your computers treats as real but is simply created by a .iso mounting program) and rite click it then copy and paste all the files to a folder
for a .bin simply mount the .cue and then repeate the trick i showed you hope this helps =D reply

I prefer to use Roxio than Nero or other similar programs. The easiest way to ensure that your program burns the full details of the game is to choose the .cue file for burning, as this is the instructions for the burning program, and lays the pathway for the data on the disc to be accessed when it is being read thereafter, You should see during the burning that the program tells you how much of whatever amount of MB is burning. The total should be the sum of both the .cue file and the .bin file.

Hope this helps reply
