Download ATI VCR1/VCR2

This package contains both ATI VCR1 and ATI VCR2, along with sample videos.
The installation is a bit problematic because the package was intended for hybrid 16/32-bit systems (Windows 95, 98, and Me). It installs 16-bit codecs for VCR1, YV12, and VYUY; these will not work in 32-bit systems such as Windows NT, 2000, XP, or 2003 - and might even mess up YV12 if you have other decoders assigned to it (usually xvid or divx).
You should not have problems installing VCR2 and ATI’s YVU9 codecs though, since they’re both 32-bit.
For VCR1 decoding on a 32-bit system we recommend the ffdshow-tryouts filter.
