3ivx supports MPEG-4, part 2 decoding on a variety of containers, namely:
AVI, OGM, MKV: 3ivx (3IV1 3IV2), DivX 3 (DIV3 DIV4), DivX 4 (DIVX), DivX 5 (DX50), DivX 6 (DX50), Xvid (XVID), Samsung MPEG-4 (SEDG)
MOV, MP4, 3GP: MPEG-4, part 2 (MP4V) (even without QuickTime installed)
audio: tag 5376 (AAC audio)
The codec is available on a variety of platforms, including Windows, Mac OS X, Unix/Linux, Amiga, and BeOS.
3ivx has a free trial period of 30 days, after which you’ll receive a nagware box. |
