Windows movie maker- Dazzle video converter DOESNT WORK

hey guys i have been working on a call of duty 4 montage but i cannot import it onto windows movie maker because when i do this message pops up

The file C:\Users\\No Name\HALO 3 FINALE LEVEL\easy1\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_0.BUP cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to import the file again.


In this cause it it becuase everytime i record it with pinnicacle instant dvd recorder it appears as a vob or a bup file so if anyone can explain this to me please leave a message below

It’s recording the video to be burned to a DVD...

You can use converters to get around this, or you should just change what format it records to, or better yet, get a better video editor.

when I am going to capture in movie maker. I use the amcap trick. dazzle100
anyway the picture is perfect, but I cant record the sound?
am only getting the sound from the computer and the mic..
