Want to convert DVD files into .mov for mac

I am new and learning a lot. Here is my current issue - I have a DVD with 7 video files on it 2 .BUP files, 3 .VOB files, and 2 .ifo files. I want to be able to convert the video into .mov files that I can use in imov on my mac - I am just getting my feet wet in this video stuff and could use any help - remember I am a novice so speak slowly :)

just use dvd ripper

handbrake and iskysoft both OK.
Just load the DVD folder and convert to MOV or MP4.
