.VOB does not play full file

I’ll get right to it... I went skydiving and they gave me a DVD of my dive. when i play it in my DVD player i have 1 chapter and its my video. when i took the .VOB file off the DVD and played it through VLC it had a whole days worth of dives. when i try to convert the .VOB file it ONLY converts the first dive (mine is the last). How do i select the end portion of the .VOB file? i want to put it on the internet!
