virtualdub mp3 freeze says ,"out of memory" when i check the avi file for freezes

plz help me.
i tried to check for freezes this avi file with virtualdub mp3 freeze and when it gets to 105261 of 134500 it gets stuck and says 'memory is low?' the whole computer gets slow and i have to close the virtualdub mp3 freeze then it comes back to normal...why is this happening plz help me..!!!

How large is this file and how much memory have you got? I’ve only 128 sdram with XP running and have never come across a 'low on memory' error.

I suppose you could give DivX Repair a go. This program is pretty automated:

The error could be related to the amount of freezes present in the file, maybe.
