Very Frustrating digital noise problem Adobe Premeir

Whenever I try and dump video to my comp thru adobe premeir or windows movie maker I get pixilated digital “noise” on the video, along with sound errors that sounds like bits of static. could the problem be my video card? i dont have these errors when getting video off the net or from a dvd, just during firewire transfers from a dv cam.

I would really appreciate any ideas.

Its very likely to be that you didnt set your camera correctly.

was there enough light when you filmed?
