Unable to capture using movie maker

Everytime i try to capture a movie from my camera i get an error message saying “class not registered”. I recently d’loaded winavi and wincapture, but have now removed them to see if this was the cause of the problem but it still exists. I think it maybe a codec i need but am not sure. Help Needed!!

(remove) reload the capture program ur using it. then click on windowmaker and should catch it.
