I want to save this video from the internet that opens in windows media player to my computer as an mpeg. does anyone know how i can do that?
the file i want to save is mms://vod.broasia.com/vod/Green_Forest/Green%20Forest%2001-772379792970349527105975L.wmv

Streams like that are made streaming so you can’t save them to your PC. However there are programs that grab the packets as they’re streaming as save them as a file. In the old days windows media recorder and streambox vcr worked well. I don’t know if they still do. Last I heard (which was quite some time ago) HiDownload was quite good. You can try that first. If it doesn’t work (aka my knowledge is too outdated), google for stream rippers.

I can’t make the iSkysoft free video downloader work. I opened a video on Google video on my Mac but it doesn’t pick up the video. Did I miss anything?
