I have several video clips downloaded from my digital camera in Quick Time. How do I convert these video clips to AVI files so that my Movie editor program will accept them. The other videos I have used are from another digital camera and are already in AVI format and I have no problem importing them into the movie editor program.
Any help would be appreciated.
Try RAD Video Tools. http://www.radgametools.com/bnkdown.htm
It should be fairly intuitive to use, but if you need help, get back to this thread.
Try converter TuneCab, it always helps me to change any files formats. Try here http://www.tunecab.com
Thanks to the two of you that answered ! I had found a program prior to receiving your responses that works like a charm...for anyone else that needs to convert formats. It is www.avs4you.com .
You can download the trial version to see if it works, for free, but if you want to use it(activate it), you have to buy the 1 year license (not that much).Otherwise, it leaves a “watermark” through the video. It was worth purchasing and alleviated a lot of headache.
Thanks again.
The reason I mentioned RAD Video Tools is because it’s freeware. It does occasionally have hiccups with audio, so commercial products are available to the rescue.
you can also take this total video converter program for a try. it is a very helpful and useful tool to convert between popular video formats.
