Tried to import an AVI into TMPGEnc and wouldn’t do it. When I imported the audio portion it said “can not open or unsupported”. When I tried to import the whole file it said “image was invalid”. The file plays fine on my realplayer, DIVx player, etc. (Original file is Xvid video codec, mpeg-1 layer 3 audio codec). I have K-lite codec package installed.
