Needing help with cucusoft in converting from WMV to avi?

I am working with cucusoft 7.13.7.7, I am trying to change a wmv to avi but any error message comes up video render error. Does anyone know how to fix this, so that I can get these files off my laptop to dvd?

I know a conversion software.It is Nidesoft video converter.convert video and audio files between all popular formats.

I’d rather go with SUPER, converts/re-encodes just about anythings and it’s free, use virtual dub to edit out spam/produced with blah blah text
