Entree Rep: 0 Joined: 24 Mar 2009 Posts: 1 OFFLINE | I’ve tried a couple of different methods with bad results. Any suggestions? HELP? I’ve copied it already with DVDFAB and it plays on my PC and my DVD player but I gave it to a couple of friends and it wouldn’t work on their dvd players. Stripping out the regional protection isn’t the same thing as changing the resolution of the picture. Also, the patch method mentioned in the Digital Digest page (1st method) doesn’t work for all DVD players, especially older ones.
ConvertXtoDVD will work OK if you want to convert just the movie. If you want to retain chapters and menus, there unfortunately is no simple way of doing it. That would require reauthoring the DVD and is rather time consuming. | |
