How to Encode AVI to MPEG 4 with Nero start smart

HI I just got the original nero start smart software, i have an avi file on my harddisk, how to covert it to mPeg4 without going through the long winded way of burning into hardisk then using the nero recoding.

There is “make movie” under “photo and video” category.

Using that you can encode your avi to whatever format you want, without burning.

Just drop the avi and try to export, You r done !!

but it only converts to mpeg 2 not mp4 by doing it that way. anything else i need to do?

I know WinAVI MP4 Video converter can convert .winavi.com/avi-to-mp4.htm" rel="nofollow" target="_new">avi to mp4.

Hey i’ve tried both xilisoft and winavi and they are both very good programs for converting avi to ipod format (mp4). I like them both.
