halo people,

im new in this site, seems to be very cool. im from buenos aires, argentina.

i would like to know how to compress some mov extension files (i have them totally uncompressed), cause i need those cips for a vj software which is asking me to use animation codec.

I don’t know if there are any freeware programs that do this.
I personally use QuickTime Pro ($30 from Apple). Open the movie in QT and click file, export movie, then follow the instructions from there (H.264 will probably yield the highest compression).
