HELP! trailer maker

I would like to make all kinds of teaser trailers for lots of different movies, but how can I cut up an entire movie from a DVD on windows movie maker?

First rip the DVD with SmartRipper. Commercial DVD’s are encrypted and not workable with unless you rip them to decrypt them.
Then use TMPGEnc Free Edition (http://www.tmpgenc.net - download button’s at the TOP of the page after you select your language) to cut it. Skip the wizard, then go file, mpeg tools, then go to merge and cut. Then add your clip, and for type pick mpeg-2, and then pick a start and end point and pick an output, and then click run.
once you get the parts you want, feed the chunks into movie maker.
