Webex provides a converter through their website that converts .wrf to .wmf

rather than pay someone to convert a .wtf, download the webex editor from:

And convert them yourself.

1) Open WebEx
2) File > Export

For some reason, none of the downloaded apps (recorder, player, or editor) have a File - Export function.. Help, I need to convert webex recordings to something more editable...

here you can find webex recording editor 2.4 which will allow you to export to wmv. then go from there. http://www.meetingcenter.net/record_play.htm

Imtoo does not have a converter for WRF. I had sent my file to E-Tech at filerepair.net and the conversion was great.

You can download it, install it, then open a wrf file and in the file menu choose export to, you can export to wmv if you have media player 9 or later.

You can convert the WebEx recordings to WMV file format (playable in Windows Media Player) using WebEx Recording Editor Software.

To convert the WebEx recorded file to WMV file format, you need to have the WebEx Recording Editor 2.4 or higher version.

To check if the WebEx Recording Editor 2.4 or higher version is available on your WebEx Web site, please download and install the WebEx Recording Editor, so that you can check the version of the WebEx Recording Editor.

NOTE: You need to have host account on your WebEx site to download WebEx Recording Editor.

does anyone know how to change the resolution on a webex .wrf file? I Have a file created at 1280 x 800...need to convert down to 1024 x 768 so that others can stream this file without being too large on their screen.

Tried to convert to .wmv using the webex editor, but having issues with audio losing sync with the video.

Your posts helped me a lot, but I still have a problem:

the player/recorder provided on the website of webex is in version 2.7
whereas the version of the editor of meetingcenter is 2.4
So I can’t edit the files I recorded with the recorder v2.7...

Do you know where to find the editor v2.7 ?

When I export to WMV, the video is terrible. Does any know what the best settings to select when exporting to WMV to obtain the best possible graphics.

It is great to be able to convert the file, but if I lose the graphics quality, it ruins the whole point.
