Does anyone know why the Rad Video would be in slow motion after it is converted from mov. The sound is fine the quality is good but it converted in slo-mo. Suggestions?

Hey guys...

Do those radtools work on vista because at the website it said “The RAD Video Tools for Windows 95, 98, Me, NT, 2000, and XP."

You can find the files shared on uploading sites that the other crawlers miss here <a href=“http:// megaupload files.com ">megaupload files</a>

i downloaded rad tools and it worked perfectly and i also purchased QuickTime Pro and i can not convert my files on that. Now i have several videos i need to convert and the rad tools isn’t working. It is saying data opening error or something and when it converts it, it doesn’t do it right and therefore i can not use them with my movie maker because it says it needs the right codec. I don’t know why it won’t work. Does this mean i have corrupt video files or something?

Hello, I took the advise about downloading the Rad Tools Program. It really does work. I am very pleased with how it converted my files.

Hey there.

Just so happens I have the same camera and the same problem. In fact, I stumbled on your query after doing a Google search on this very issue. (I’m looking for a conversion tool myself.)

My preliminary findings suggest you need Quicktime Pro to handle the conversion. (You may know that the .mov format is QuickTime’s native format.) The good news is that QuickTime Pro costs only $29.99, so even though it’s not freeware it isn’t a budget buster, either.

Here’s a link that explains how to do the conversion under QuickTime Pro. Looks like it might be a little hairy:

Good luck!
