Fist of all - HELLO TO EVERYONE that shares my same problem.

I just recently purchased a JVC Everio video camera. When transfering the files over to be edited into PINNACLE studio, it does not recognize the files.
-To make a long story short, no software I have on my computer recognizes the files..-ONLY- the software that came with the JVC Everio.
SO, I did some research and someone suggested that I download “super” and it would convert my files over..- NOT!- I had to sit and figure that out...- I could not.
Somone also suggested that I click on the file and change it from .MOI to .MPG and I would be able to edit it in my Pinnacle Studio..-NOT! That did not happen.
If anyone is out there that knows what they are doing and would not mind lending me some advice..I would certainly appreciate any good help.

I am having the same problem. It seems the JVC outputs video into 1 file (.mod) that you can just change the extension to .mpg and it will work... with no audio. I believe the .moi is the audio in a separate file.
