Conversion crashing after first file

Gudday all. I’m tryng to convert a bunch of music videos to DVD, but no matter which program I use to convert the mpgs to vob - vision express, WinAVI - it will crash.

In VE’s case, it will start the burn and then fail after the first song. In WinAVI it will get some sort of exeption error at the finish of the first file in the list in the batch conversion.

Any ideas how to fix this?
