AVI to SVCD

I downloaded the movi Hitch on two AVIs each 699MB (CD1 & CD2) if i want to put them on SVCD i have to cut both in half and would leave me with 4 AVI which i then have to convert with TMPGEnc which takes me a lot of time for each one (9 hours x 4 due to 4 parts roughly). and then with nero burn them on CD which would leave me with 4 CDs and if i encode with nero and burn then there is a problem which says theres not enough disk space (the CD, however that is not my problem i am not bothered with it.)do u guys by any chance know the best and easy and quick way?¿ thanx alot
