Windows Movie Maker problems... unable to save the compilation i've made to a movie!

I can’t fucking believe this. I’m so proud of this music video I just made and now I’m having the same problems that you lot have had and it doesn’t let me save, even though EVERYTHING is in the right place. Is there ANY way around this?!!?! I’m so pissed off I want to scream!!!

I use Adobe for the Berrics.com

Yeah, mine won’t publish the movie because it says either one of three problems exist. Not enough memory, source files no longer available, or location trying to save to no longer available.

Its really slow on my computer which i can cope with (just) and contain frustrasion but the bit that really gets me is when the whole thing freezes the computer and u hav 2 do ctrl+alt+del and use the windows task manager to exit the project whether you’ve saved work yet or not! I will eat it! X

Why the hell will they call it Windows Movie Maker when the piece of shit can’t save a 23 mb movie clip?

I am getting really mad! I made a vid that took me forever! and i was really really porud of it and stupid Windows Movie Maker wont let me save it.AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Why don’t we start a website where we can join each other in the sorrow which is caused by the fact that Windows Movie Maker is made by a direct sibling of the Devil, who is watching down from his flaming skies and laughing at all these brave men that have tried to make the program work but died in their attempt?

We could make a graveyard section on the site as well, to reminisce all those that have passed in life as well as in mental health, in their struggle to make something of their lives with small video compilations.

The problem with WMM is that it doesn’t support enough types of movies... That is so annoying...

Has anyone tried installing CCCP (link below)

It is a codecs pack that made it so i could import an aci file that i previously could not.

I have to fix movie maker for my boss and a lot of the errors i can not make occur, so let me know if it helps

I have a problem that I made my video than when I save it and i watch the video on windows media player it comes different that i had it on windows movie maker?!?! Can someone tell me why or is it cuz its bull shit xD can someone please tell me whats the problem?!?!?!?!?!?!

I’ve been using WMM for the last 4 years without issue, until the last month or so. When I try to save a file to any medium whether it be CD/DVD or the computer I can’t. It tells me that the originating file and destination file do not exist, which I know they both do. It then tells me that I don’t have enough memory - 20gb not enough now eh? AAAARGH!

okay what you need to do if you cant save a movie in movie maker is
in movie maker go to tools/options/generals tab
and look in the saving location
do you see this C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temp\go there and empty your movie maker storage or change the storage location
also use the compatibility tab and restore your defaults this will free up your storage space and restore any corrupt codecs you might have
you might need to unlock some hidden files if so you can do this in controll panel
controll panel/folder options/and enable the show hidden folders option

after all that do a dick clean up and a quick defrag .restart your computer and make a restore point

ta-daaa your movie maker is fixed
and if it eff’s up on you agaian then repeat this process

I have been using movie maker for years and I have no problems

well it sounds like you need to convert it.
the program im using to do that is called “any video converter” its easy to use and u can get it to be any format u want^-^ try googeling it
