Windows Movie Maker problems... unable to save the compilation i've made to a movie!

I can’t even get it to open a movie project I am trying to save, this is a terrible, dodgy, buggy piece of (What you shouldn’t cll) software.

MAKE SOMETHING THAT WORKS PROPERLY??? IS IT THAT HARD?

Yeah, I feel every one of ya! My best friend is in a coma, and I made this vid for him when he wakes up. Too bad it will still be an UNFINISHED PIECE OF SHIT when he comes to! Thanx 4 nuthin'!

I have a real bad problem and need a good answer quick.

Im making this music video for my coursework and have just spent hours editing.Now its all done and in time with the song.I play the whole thing back to me and every time it goes from one shot to another it freezes for about a second.The music is still playing and the film catches up but there is that half a second pause every time.And trust me,there are alot of shots so its pretty noticeable.

This was all on my windows movie maker on my vista laptop.No i know next to fucking nothing about computers so i really need some help.

I am ready to burn a movie from Windows Movie Maker - I try to save it with Movie Save and it only saves about 30% and can run as long as 24 hours.......what next????

whenever i try to make my movies into a DVD movie maker tells me cannot create disk. an unspesified error has occured.
what does this mean?
how do i fix it?

WOW this program is such shit, get pinnacle studios 12!

made several movies . the problem is you can only publish them some of the time so what good is this program if you cannot make a dvd and copy it. wasted about 10 hours of my life on this now I am going to have to buy a good program. Why they even put this trash on the free software is the question? Bill , I lost respect for microsoft because of this.

Im having serious trouble... When im making a video if I pause it and then play it again the song is at the wrong part!!! I will be in the middle of the song then pause/play it ind it will play the part from the beginning even though it shows im in the middle of the song!!!!!

Please help.

I have problem when i want to save file,it dont save me in file like wav,mp4,avi so i can play it in media player,but save it like project,to continue with working.. Pls anybody help?

Fuck the people who made windows movie player. Peeople who make shit programmes that know will screw up and waste peoples time, raise small children’s expectations and feed off humanity should be killed as it may save a life time of frustration whan added up over all the people they have screwed with. Anyone got an address for the scum?

I’m sorry that I don’t have an answer for your problem... but I to am having a problem with Movie maker... when I save a simple music file with a single picture, it comes up with the file saved as a MSWMM. Which does not work with YOUTUBE, the desired up-loader. Only one of my videos I have made actually worked and is now an WMV... How do I fix this to make my other videos a compatible format for YOUTUBE?

WMM is really the best program ever. So I spend a few hours making a movie, want to save it and then WMM assesses how long it will take - and just sits there, the estimated time just piles up thousands of minutes yet the progress bar stays at 0%. Awesome!

It gets even better. At one point I checked the option to automatically open the last project worked on upon starting - afterwards WMM would always crash upon starting. Good job M$.

I’ve been using WMM for about a year and never had any problems until lately. I’ll import a video, not an unfamiliar file type, and only the audio will play when I put it into my movie. Sometimes on a project, the audio/music won’t play in the right spot (in sync with where I’ve put it into my movie) unless I start it from the beginning of the movie. Just recently, I tried to make a movie and the first video clip played fine, but everything I added afterward froze on the first frame while the audio played through. I don’t understand. I’m about to chuck my computer through the window if it doesn’t start behaving properly!!
I’ve also tried downloading software such as Zweit-stein and Wax. Neither of them made any sense and the help guides were no use. I haven’t found anything as good as WMM and I’m really, REALLY aggravated it’s starting to bug.

To others:
-if you have freezing problem, you have to be patient
-if your slideshow stop in the mid of vid., you have to pause it, press stop a play it again
-if you have problem with import, try again and when it still doesn’t work, try to find some fucking codec
-if you have problem with that fucking program being freezed and then shutting it off and make you wonder why sometime it saves your file and sometime not, then go to ´properties´ then´options´ (or whatever is it in english version of that goddammed program) and there you can choose in what intervals it will save your file, but don’t relly on that much, just keep saving your file every second (and I mean it) manualy
-if you have problem like me, that it shows you that there is some fucking error (even when there is NOT) then go ask your parents if they would buy you a new computer or chceck your savings and if you have enough money to buy new comp then go to your computer, try to save that file again and if it fails then just smile and punch/kick it (monitor or PC, it doesn’t matter) O))

ps.: yea, sorry my english sucks..but no that much like WMM does! >|

I have problem with WMM too, I can’t save what I want(but sometimes when I try if it even works and put some crap in the vid. it works and actulaly save it!) when I am saving others, it starts to count minutes that remain to millions! (and I am not joking, it rly does)
and I just finished rly good movie but it doesn’t let me save it.. ;_;
