Hi,

I’m new to this stuff. I just bought a new external dvd burner, because I have video files I would like to burn on to DvD’s They are videos I got off of youtube. I tried buring them using realplayer. Took for ever to recode, then when it starts to burn it kicks out the disc and gives an error message:

The data rate of this file is too high for DVD - you must replace with one of a lower rate - PGC info = ,ref

the file I am trying to burn has a 3.flv at the end if that helps you answer my question.

my question is what do I do? I don’t have another file for these videos. Can anyone explain what I need to do?

Thanks for your time and knowledge on this subject.

thank you for taking your time to answer my question. I did some research and found a program that would convert flv files to DVD for me. But thanks again for your suggestion.
