Question about burning d/led movies to DVD

Everyhtime I burn a movie that was downloaded it ends up skipping and green blocks apear on my tv screen after I burn it. all I do is d/l the movie then add the files to nero visionexpress 3 and click burn. takes about 30 minutes to “trasncode” then i hit burn and that takes about 2 minutes... am I doing something wrong? most of the movies are .AVI format

Can you watch that avi on computer? GSpot is a tool to find out what kind of avi you have.Sizes over 700 MB is for dvd but also you might have a Xvid file and so on.Install GSpot and start from there.From an avi in order to burn it on cd or dvd you need to convert it and WinAvi is a very good one but for Xvid file you need a DIvX to DVD converter.Check on home page of this site for tools and players.
