Problem for DVD ripping and converting

I used WinXP Pro, DFI LanParty nForce2 Ultra mobo, AMD Athlon 2800+, ATIRadeon 9500 64MB, RAM 256(single), MSI 16X DVD-ROM. When ripped and convert on the progress unexpectedly the software stoped worked or closed immediately. I never finished ripping and converting.

I used DVDx, DVDtoAvi and try some other softwares but not solve the problem.

Try downloading DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink from www.afterdawn.com they are free and worked every time for me so far.

It take me about 2 - 3 hours when trying to copy a full DVD with DVD Shrink

It copys to Hard Disk The It Ejects, I Insert A Blank and allthat takes 2 - 3 hours, Why is that ?

i think you need more ram

when you try to copy a full dvd including menus and extras dvd shrink ripping and burning (with any burner) will take more time than when you just take of the main movie and shrink and burn that one becaus there is a lot more data to shrink, to decrypt and to burn.

so you need a fast computer or a lot of time. or just stop wanting to copy a full dvd an go for the main title instead.

dvd shrink 3.2 works fine for me.
