please HELP!!! need help fast

I downloaded a movie in .rar and after i extracted it, it turned into a .VOB file.

Than i tryed to burn it onto a DVD disc with the program “DVD Shrink” but it showed me a warning that the program has encountered an error and that it cant continue. :-(
The same thing happened with my “Nero” program.

What do i need to do to burn the movie onto a DVD disc so i can watch it in my DVD-player?

P.S: please answer me as soon as possible because all my friends are comming tonight to see the movie and i cant burn it!

i suppose the file is fucked up.
Not only a vob should be included in the rar to compile a working copy on dvd.
Explore one of your working dvds and study what is on them and in what folders.
Hope you managed to do something usefull that nite when your friend came to visit you.
Suppose you went to the videorentalshop?

make dummy DVD movie directory on hardisk, (use any small size video, just for dummies), change dummy .VOB file with your .VOB (that u want to burn it), burn those DVD movie directory with burning software. If those file less than 700MB, u can use CD only
