Nero 8 won't open my files from BitLord

I downloaded some movies from torrentspy. I couldn’t play the movies at first so I downloaded the Xvid codec and that worked. Now I can watch the movies, but when I go to burn them with Nero 8, I open the file where my movies are, but when I try to transfer them into the Nero burning page, Nero says that it cannot open the file. Please help!!!

try using nero vision plug-in or WinAvi to convert Xvid or .avi to DVD. I’m having the same problem, dowloading my solution from isohunt.com

Nero8 is a shit with a lot of erors.Instal Nero 7 and burn it.
