I have a dell 1521 inspirion with a turion 64 x2 processor at least i think thats what it is, im not very computer knowledgeable. My dvd burner is a usb 2.0 slim portable optical drive that i purchased from dell. Ok my problem is i download videos from utorrent and i burn them using express burn which i thought was supposed to convert them from avi to dvd form. Iv’e used dvd-r and dvd+r disks and it seems to burn them fine but when i go to play them in any other player including my xbox 360 they wont play at all. This has been driving me crazy can someone please help me?

Well, different palyer support different format , that probably due to the format when you burning. If you want it to be play on your Xbox you need format like wmv otherwise it won’t be played!

in order to play dvds on regular dvd player(dvd players other than the one on computer), you need to create video_ts and audio_ts folders, etc, a basic video dvd is made up of 3 parts: 1. vob files 2. ifo files 3. .bup files, you must use a dedicated dvd video burner to burn dvds for dvd player.

I recommend you use cucusoft to burn DVD movies, it is good at burning videos to dvd movies and make them play on DVD player. It Supports DivX, XviD, AVI, VOB, .asf, .wmv, .rm, .rmvb, and .mov format as input video. You can visit this page to learn how to use this program to burn dvds
