Mpeg and Windows Media player.

ok heres the run down.

my cousin recorded footage on his lap top.

vista, using quick play. the files save as mpegs. we tried burning them to dvd. but they wont play with any sound. i played the files through windows media and it doesnt have soound either. do i have to convert the file. thanx




p.s.

will windows movie maker be suffiecent enough to cut up muitiple files and make a high light reel.?
