@wintersummer,
i dont think it matters what you call the folder that you put your MP3’s in.
does your DVD player play Playlists ?
you could setup some playlists and see if the player will play them.

when i contacted the customer care, someone replied that i can program it to play the songs in any sequence i want using the program button on the remote. but when i press, it just shows songs in folder view. there is no field for entering a sequence (number) next to the song as replied by the customer care.
i tried with an ORIGINAL audio CD yesterday. the player displayed the field for entering numbers, but for some reason it does not play in sequence i want. it was supposed to display a PLAY button on screen. but there was none.
will experiment more and will let you guys know the result.

Well I think I see your problem. Roxio Easy Media Creator. Their software is the worst and their “support” if you can call it that is non-existant. How do you spell rip-off “ROXIO”
Hey can anybody help me here?????? i want to burn a mp3 cd for playing on normal cd players.............(car cd players) i here that you can put more songs on a standard disk???????? if anybody can plzzzzzzzz send me an email??????? quicksilver.xp@gmail.com
i just want like 100 songs on a normail cd-r disk.............
sorry m8,
a normal cd player wont play a MP3 CD
you have to have a CD player that can play MP3’s
does your CD player in your car specifically say that it can play MP3 CD’s
if no then theres no way Jose
I think if you have a divx player this might play mp3dvd’s because this can play movie data files (divx) I will tru it out and let you know, I will be using Nero.
yep,
a divx player should play DVD MP3 disc
check that it can do random or shuffle because you dont want to here hundreds of songs in the same order
the best unit for playing lots of MP3’s is a modded Xbox with XBMC running on it. plays all video formats as well

THERE IS NO “patch for nero that allows cd-r’s to be seen as dvd’s and will actually burn the 4.7GB of MP3’s onto the disk,..."
thats just a load of crapola.
WRONG!!!!
“if you buy a DVD PLAYER DECK then you can play DVD MP3’s!!"
not all dvd players will play DVD MP3’s
Tama, you are not entirely true on this fact. . .you are right by saying that all DVD players will not ply MP3 DVD’s. But I have seen a CD burned as a DVD. It is done from within a preinstalled environment such as BartPE where you are actually able to fool your computer into doing pretty well anything you want since you are not within the normal parameters of an OS! Not so sound like a B*tch, but I just thought that you might want to know!
Ive seen a DVD on a CD as well , its called a miniDVD.
so this CD that was burned as a DVD had 4.7GB of MP3’s on it that you were able to take and play on your DVD player ?
link me to some proof
Iv’e burn mp3 on to dvd and it will play in a divx player I have also got a portable divx player and it will play mp3 dvd discs using nero and choosing iso dvd, the display on the divx player then shows either the track name if you have burnt seperate tracks or it shows files for each album open the file and each track is displayed. So I suppose the next thing to do is put a divx drive with supporting firmware into a stand alone cd player !!!!! ?????
YO tama yeah thats what i meant sorry for not specifing it the cd player in my car can play MP3 disk’s................
i just want to burn a mp3 cd with like more than the standard amount which goes up to like 20 on a cd-r...
how is it done?
Hey HANkz,
just dont think of mp3’s as audio, they are just data files.
just burn them as data.
if you got NERO theres an option to burn a MP3 disc (depends on the version of NERO).
you can just add a bunch of MP3’s to the CDr or if your car CD/MP3 player can handle folders you can burn folders to your CDr, it depends on your player.
my player dosnt do folders so i burn a bunch and then have my player on random repeat, hours of music.
Thanks Tama ill try that........................
To play an mp3 cd or dvd on a regular car cd player, do the following:
While the cd player is powered off, scoop a large amount of mayonnaise (preferably Helman’s, not the cheap stuff) with a butter knife and jam it into the cd player. Also lather a bunch onto your cd’s and dvd’s before inserting them. This will bend the laser so that it can read the mp3’s no matter what you put in it. Also try this in your computer before you burn the dvd’s and cd’s.
Although unrelated, I have some real nice bridges for sale if anyone’s interested.
hello,
I am new to this whole CD burning thing- i want to know how to download an MP3 from a website and burn it on to a CD to listen to- this is not music its talks/sermons- any advice?
Hey Moms,
you first need to get the MP3 file onto your PC,
are you able to download the MP3 file to your PC
yeah everyone does understand cd players dont play dvds! i hope!
but if you fill a dvd with mp3s and play it in a dvd player that supports mp3 playback surley there is no reason it wont play ? is there?
i cant think of any problems if the player supports dvd, audio & the mp3 format although when dvds are produced the audio track for a film for instance is encoded differently
