MKV to DVD or DIVX

I have sony bravia tv and sony home theatre systems which can support divx too. I downloaded the Bluray I dont mind converting it to a VOB or DIVX since my player plays both but I dont want to lose the resolution of the video or the 5.1 ac3. Any easy way to attain this?
