Hi, I am new to this site. I want to be able to put a video file onto a dvd but the file is too big, what is the best way to do this? What are the best programs to shrink dvd files? And what are some other options that I have? I want to be able to watch it on my dvd player at home. Thanks in advance.

Well I use 3 ways.

1) Run it through a freeware program called DVDShrink
2) Run it through a program called CloneDVD and either set it to DVD5 or remove things to make it smaller.
3) Run it through DVDFab, make it a DVD5 and burn or remove things to increase quality.

I use joboshare, it can copy DVDs to another DVD disc directly, even if you have only one dvd slot. it can help you duplicate the dvd (even it is copyright protected) and make it as the same as the original.
